Nicholas Robert Dunlap, of Centreville, had been bullying people, including Hutchinson, Jackson said. On Sept. 22, 2013, the two met up on the road. Both pulled over and Dunlap punched Hutchinson in the stomach, Jackson said. Later that evening, they saw each other again as they were driving in the Six Mile community. Hutchinson and a woman were in one car and Dunlap was in another. "That’s when he shot him," Jackson said. The woman told authorities she heard several gunshots, and Hutchinson was shot in the back of the head. She was able to grab the steering wheel and guide the car to a stop.
