Eric L. Welch Guster
Eric L. Welch Guster is managing attorney of Guster Law Firm. He helps clients with criminal and civil matters, concentrating on catastrophic injuries, car accidents, class action lawsuits and criminal cases.
Eric Guster received his Accounting and Finance Degree from Alabama State University where he pledged Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc, became a member of the Mighty Marching Hornets and a member of Kappa Kappa Psi National Honorary Band Fraternity. After college, Eric became a licensed real estate broker and formed a real estate agency in Birmingham concentrating in investment properties. Guster completed his J.D. at The Birmingham School of Law and formed Guster Law Firm, LLC in 2002.
Attorney Guster has handled thousands of cases, some of which have captured local and national media attention. As a result of his experience, he has become a go-to lawyer when the media needs a legal expert to discuss major cases and legal topics happening in the news. He has been a legal resource to national and local media outlets, including The Birmingham News, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Newsone, al.com, NBC, CBS, ABC, FOX, Black America Web and various radio programs about various legal issues. Guster is also a regular commentator on WBRC FOX 6.
"Never quit" is Guster's motto. He uses it in everything he does, from handling cases in the courtroom to training in crossfit. In his spare time he likes to volunteer in schools, moderate legal workshops, mentor young attorneys, travel and discuss politics.
Eric Guster is licensed to practice in Alabama, all Federal Courts in Alabama, Colorado and Middle District of Tennessee.
