Janine McKinnon McAdory
Janine McKinnon McAdory, a native of Atlanta, Georgia, has called Alabama "sweet home" since 2010. Ms. McAdory is a graduate of Vanderbilt University (B.E., Biomedical Engineering, 2005) and Howard University School of Law (J.D., 2010).
After graduating law school, Janine immediately began her legal career at an "Am Law Top-100" corporate defense litigation firm based in Birmingham. As an attorney representing banks, insurance companies, manufacturers, state agencies and public corporations, Janine's litigation experience is expansive. She has litigated in both state and federal courts in Alabama, Arkansas, California, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, Missouri, Nevada, New York, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas.
After six years defending "big business" corporations, Janine knew that it was not her calling. Now, Janine continues this important work at the Guster Law Firm working out of both the Parkway East and Bessemer offices. Janine maintains a diverse practice at Guster Law Firm consisting of family law, general litigation, business formations, real estate law, and estate planning.
In 2012, Janine received the Birmingham Magazine "Best in Minority Business Award" for "Outstanding Attorney." In 2014-2016, Janine was recognized as a "Top-100 Lawyer" by National Black Lawyers. Most recently, in 2017 and 2018, Janine was recognized by Super Lawyers as a "Rising Star" in the area of business litigation.
